Police said investigators learned two drivers involved in a deadly motorcycle crash in west Phoenix displayed signs of impairment.

The crash happened near 43rd Avenue and Orangewood Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Monday.

A northbound vehicle made a left turn when it collided with a southbound motorcycle.

Police said the vehicle also struck a second vehicle.

The motorcycle rider, identified as 29-year-old Noah Clarence Bailey, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said at least four occupants were among both vehicles. They were transported for treatment.

The intersection was closed for several hours while police investigated.
